Ranjini's story
"Ranjini M Ravi spent 15 years building things from scratch in Kerala.
She opened a beauty institute in 2007 ,training makeup artists, consulting salons, teaching women the craft behind confidence.
In 2016 she built something nobody in Kerala was doing. She took discarded garments ,old jeans, forgotten kurtas ,and transformed them into something beautiful. Kerala's upcycling movement was born. The Hindu covered it. New Indian Express covered it. Asianet brought it to every home.
Her philosophy was simple: nothing wasted. Everything renewed.
In 2020 she went through the hardest year of her life. It taught her one thing ,what you put in your body and how you take care of yourself is everything.
That belief became Brown Routine.
She brought the same circular economy values to wellness. Clean ingredients. No waste. No compromise. A routine built on ancient Indian wisdom ,the morning practice, the intentional ritual, the energy of consistency that our culture has always known.
Because in India, wellness was never a product. It was always a routine."

"Her daughter grew up watching a woman build things from nothing.
She studied abroad. Worked in global beauty. Watched the world discover what Kerala already knew, that ancient ingredients work, that skin needs consistency not shortcuts, that beauty is not one shade.
She came home with one question: why are Indian women still chasing beauty standards that were never built for them?
She brought the trends. The science. The global perspective.
Together they looked at what Kerala women actually needed , not fairness. Not filters. Not someone else's standard.
